If something is not working, it helps a lot if you can tell us your phone model, your Android version, and what kind of file you were opening. You never need to send us the file itself.
Sakura only lists folders you have chosen. Open Settings → Scanned folders and add the folder your files are in, usually Download or Documents. Then use Settings → Scan again.
You can always open any single file without granting anything, using the + button and Open a file.
Yes. Tap the file in that app, choose Open with and pick Sakura.
Older binary .doc and .ppt files use a format that cannot be read
reliably in this app. Modern .docx, .xlsx and .pptx files
work. If you open an older one, Sakura tells you and offers to hand it to another app rather
than showing you a broken page.
Please email us the phone model and describe what is wrong. If you are able to share a file that shows the problem, that helps enormously, but only send documents you are comfortable sharing. We never ask for confidential files.
While reading, tap the screen to show the toolbar, then Display. You can choose a light, sepia or dark page and make the text bigger or smaller. On a PDF, text size works as zoom.
Open Settings → Support Sakura and choose Remove ads for 24 hours. You watch one short video and the banner disappears for a day. Nothing to pay and nothing to sign up for.
There is no paid version of Sakura. Google Play billing is not available to us, so instead of charging for features we made all of them free.
